What is Radio Frequency?
Radiofrequency is a non- invasive deep acting treatment ideal for improving loose skin after weight loss, pregnancy or simply as an anti-ageing alternative treatment. It will firm smooth and tighten the skin giving a natural looking result. You will feel and notice an effect after just one treatment with continued results throughout a 4 to 8 treatment program.
Radiofrequency is a safe type of energy that enables effective heating of the dermis. Heating the dermis and deep skin layers causes existing collagen fibres to shrink and tighten, giving a younger, fresher appearance. Microcirculation is increased so that oxygen and nutrients are concentrated in the treated area, fat metabolism is stimulated making the fat more available to the body. This helps diet and exercise to be more effective at targeting problem areas. Sometimes Vacuum suction is also used for deeper tissue heating and to help lymph, circulation and to remove toxins and reduce water retention in cells. The fat cells are filtered out of the body by the lymphatic system. This treatment can be carried out on any age group over 18, and is effective on many areas including, the face and neck, arms, legs, tummy. This treatment can be carried out on most areas of the body where skin firming is required.
The effect of the treatment continues working for some weeks afterwards as cells in the dermis (fibroblasts) are stimulated to make new collagen, which is formed over several weeks & months. This results in a smoother tighter skin, improves lines wrinkles and skin tone and texture. Radio Frequency Skin Tightening also works very well along-side the Ultrasonic Cavitation treatment in order to reduce the appearance of cellulite.
